“Royal Four in Hand” – Documentary
Tonight I watched Tony Searle’s documentary “Royal Four in Hand”, with Prince Philip. The documentary is about carriage driving competitions and the involvement of the Duke of Edinburgh in them. Did you know that Philip has been the president of the International Equestrian Federation? The Prince shows the different types of carriages used in competitions, each type exclusively used for a specific sort of competition. He also shows the techniques he uses to control them, including his voice. What impressed me about the sport is its complexity.
