    A journey to the homeland

      Hello. I’m writing from 30.000 feet. I’ve been on board for almost two hours, waiting for the Aegean Airlines pilot to land me on Crete in another two hours. The journey is long; more than four hours in a coach, four hours on a plane and two hours in a car. And I’m not counting the waiting time in-between. From this height, it doesn’t really count whether the weather in Britain has been awful today.     Looking forward to going home

      It’s official; I’m going home for a few weeks! I have not been outside Britain for almost a year and, of course, I miss Crete! And with it, my family and friends -human and equine! I look forward to seeing how much Ghois has grown up, how Bebis, Zimas, Voukefalas, Mouri and Fivos will react when they see me again. And, of course, I look forward to meeting the three equine newbies! Bebis, now there will be some competition on the treats for you! In fact, I’ve missed myself carrying bags with veggie treats (more than 500 gr.) every single afternoon. Bebis would always get the biggest portion, heheh!…
