Urgent pledge for the University of Nottingham RDA group
Hi! It is my honor to have been chosen to coordinate Jumpstart, the first platform that raises awareness about the student-run projects of the University of Nottingham, which are at the core of our University’s engagement in the local communities in all three countries where UoN has campuses (United Kingdom, Malaysia, China). Pregnant mare rescued from slaughter – video
While I was browsing YouTube, I found a cute video about a US charity saving a pregnant mare from the auction that mainly leads to slaughter. Soon after her rescue, the mare gave birth to this cute, cute, cute foal! My heart melts!

A jewel for champions: the $16500 Valegro bracelet
A bracelet made of gold and plaited hair from the tail of the dressage champion Valegro had been sold on an auction for $16,500, according to the Horse & Hound website . In specific for this hefty price the buyer got a perfect plait of the champion’s tail hair, 9k yellow gold, sixty-four diamonds and the word Valegro. The profits have been donated to the CatWalk Spinal Cord Injury Trust, a charity founded in New Zealand by a group of friends , including the four-star eventer Catriona Williams, whose accident in 2002 forced her into a wheelchair.
